very easy to do, find a bracket from ebay - cheap, and find the wooden pillars in the wall, and screw into them lol, if needed add cross sections of wood
and i recomend getting a AV reciever so the only cable you need is an HDMI and sticking it thru the wall ( use a snake )
:)

Fancy a trip down to devon mate :)
I have been toying with the idea myself as my youngest is trying to smash the tv daily! Incidently, where is the new hoose, eventually got shot of your own?? Oh and another thing, what happened to the xbox, ps3 back in favour now??
lol!! thanks for all the comments guys the ps3 stays downstairs steven for its blueray capabilities and the odd guitar hero blitz now and again when ive had a few shandies the wee fella is the xbox dafty in the house and that is up in his own room!! lol!!
Let me know hoe you get on Scott cause i really fancy doing this, might speak to Dochie to see what he suggest's. Do these brackets swivel on the wall or are they fixed square?
i have a cupboard under my stairs where all my cables go to surround sound, ps3, sky and the wii, i got my bracket for the 50" plasma from maplin cost 40 quid, bored a hole big enough for the cables with an sds drill as i have all brick walls
the results ;

i fitted my mates to his partition wall which was much easier as we could cut a hole in the wall and feed cables anywhere :)
also have a wee ir sender with sensors that pick up my abbundance of remotes and sends the signal to each bit of equipment so no wires at all

my mate had a stone wall, i mounted his tv on it and chisseled a channel out of it, then installed the wires and plasteresd over the top of them.....made it look good tho :) - far better than running trunking or anything :)
that looks sweet Stew, something like that would suit me perfect! Time to get bracket's and trunking i think :)
Nnnnoooooooooo not trunking
Dont worry, the trunking will all be hidden as they will be sunk into the wall, just for easy of removing cable's etc if i need too:)

Thats a nice set up you have there Stew:D but is your other equipment just lying on the floor mate or have u got a av rack for the sky+ etc?
Its all in a wee cupboard, inside my cupboard under the stairs, the stuff on the floor is my surround sound as im waiting on delivery of my carpet before i run all my wires for the speakers ;)
