View Full Version : Sorry!!! How much!!!!
Popped in here today for a wee look as I'm looking at buying a new TV so I thought I'd look elsewhere as I've already done the Curry's and Comet thing. Just to see what else my money could buy......well that's what I thought.

I bought a Hi Fi from them years ago and I've still got it and it still sounds mint so I thought, why not.
After I entered I saw the TV's stuck on the wall and thought, yeah, stunning!! Then I saw a mint pair of speakers and when I was told that they start at 15K for a set!!!!:eek: I then turned round and informed Scott (who's 5) to stand still and put his hands in his pockets and not move.:lol:
The guy who worked and owned the shop was a top gent and he informed me that they'll do a basic Hi Fi set-up including good speakers for around the 30K mark.:lol:
I soon left.:p:lol:
Just goes to show how the "other" half live, eh!!
ruddy nora!!!
does £15k really get you superior quality??
dont be so bloody tight lol
dont be so bloody tight lol
That's exactly what I thought, so I ordered myself 2 sets. :police::lol:

I know there are, my father had a B&O set up years ago but there is no way I'll be paying that! Might be worth every penny but who has 15K just sitting there to be spent on a pair of speakers.:rolleyes::lol:

When i said to his daughter - lucky you getting to go away all the time and she replied - well we need to use up some of our money, we have too much ( she`s 9 ) i thought....alright for some :(
As I've always said.....wish I'd stuck in at school.:lol1:

Looks like I'm going to be heading down the LED route, totally different class all together.:cool: Plus it's deffo going to be a Sam as their about the only mob that have LED telly's on the market.
one thing that does bug me about tellys is you buy the very latest one then the next week a new better one comes out,and the price of the one you just bought drops by a couple of hundred quid! aarrgghh this has happened to me everytime ive bought a telly! ah well not too worry hee hee:rolleyes::lol1::lol1:
