Hi ,
I just bought a new Rear Silencer + Center Silencer for my Vectra Arctic 1.8 16v R Registration 1998/1999 - 4 Door Saloon - 1799 cc
I need to buy a Catalytic Converter as soon as possible for M.O.T 18/08/2009.
The problem is there seems to be 2 types , I looked at the one on the car but previous owner cut out the old flexi pipe and attached a new flexi with 2 U-Clamps
So i cant tell the it was originally all one piece or 2 pieces .
The 2 types of Catalytic Converters is as follows :-
1st Part - A front pipe with flexi and 2 pipe split for attaching to 16 Valve engine manifold all in one . One end attaches to Manifold , the other to the center silencer .

2nd Part A - A front pipe with flexi and 2 pipe split for attaching to 16 Valve engine manifold .
2nd Part B - Is just the Catalytic Converter that bolts onto the front pipe above .

[The 2 types look pretty much the same apart from the 2nd one the Catalytic Converter bolts onto the front pipe instead of the whole assembly being welded together on the 1st one .
I would really it appreciate If anyone could help me with any info on what one my car needs .
