i had really bad scratches on my bonnet for ages, some of you have seen them......polish/wax works at covering them up a bit for a couple days.
yesterday i came accross my touch up pen :D :lol1: :lol:
i plastered the bonnet scratches with paint and it looked hideous :lol:
then i took some electraclean ( evaporating cleaning stuff for electrics thats quite strong ) and after a lot of graft to remove the excess paint, it appears to have filled the scratches pritty well, lets hope it lasts :D :dunno:
the wife was even impressed and said " why dont you do the entire bumper the same " ----- i reminded her of the quote energy gave us for a respray and told her id spend more than that in touch up pens lol, she still said no tho :( ahh well hahaha

Sounds like a job well done mate if not a bit of luck(skill??) thrown in ... The way i always convince the wife about things like that is point out that her mates cars are spotless and when they come and see ours/ her car looking like crap they will be talking about her ...... Works every time .....lol

right here we go, as you can see close up its still seeable ( tho it appears worse on the camera than you can see, and it used to be pure white! )

not perfect by any means, but unless you know were it is, and really really look hard, you cant see it now :D - and again, the camera makes it look worse than it does in real life :(

I think you have done a good job there buddy other than a respray it will never be perfect but if your like me you only notice it because you know its there... Do youdo stone chips......??

lol, i did a few other scratches today the same way...all came out better ( nae perfect but better ) give it a try :)
