what would cause a motor to start speeding up when your trying to slow down without touching the throttle :confused::confused::confused:

you might have touched the cruise control whilst indicating iv done that a couple of times myself

deff not that mate it does it when your driving along as well and maybe brake for a corner dealer cant find any thing wrong with it and want to replace the guys car but hes no wanting it replaced cause the old owner really looked after it and its mint plus its ma old wan and would really like to help the guy out if i can lol;)

Somethin to do with the throttle position or airflow sensors mebbe?

Does it run for a bit when you turn off the ignition sometimes if so could be leaking oil causing the oil to burn off when the injectors reduce fuel making it accelerate when you ease off the pedal..... Sounds like an excess fuel issue though ...
