wee swifty was back in dealers again!

well the car has just received its 3rd set of replacement brake pads due too heavy duty squealing at all times not just cold:eek: also wanted them too check out gearbox as its become heavy in operation,turns out it needs a new linkage which is on order,the brakes now seem fine just loking forward too getting gearbox issue sorted :lol1: just aswell wee both love the wee jobby as i think it would have been replaced by now lol oh and it needs new tyres soon and they are a slightly goofy size and only available in good year make according too mytyres.co.uk and are £75 a pop:eek: iirc they are 195x45x17 btw;)

Can't you use a cheaper size as many did on the vec i.e 205/40/17s?
